Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox 50ml, this detox’s and exfoliates your scalp and helps stop product build up. I’ve used this before and it felt a little strange at the start but I liked it and it also has cooling effect on your scalp which feels lovely. Priced at £6.49 for 50ml.

Karl Lagerfeld -ModelCO Brow Pencil full-size product, I’m lucky as this is a dark shade as my brows our dark but of you have light brows this would be annoying it’s priced at €22.

Its infused with Pomegranate Extract, the serum delivers a potent dose of antioxidant activity to the delicate tissue surrounding the eyes, smoothing and brightening for radiant-looking skin. Christmas Beauty Advent Calendar

I know it’s only September but last year I left it too late to get the beauty advent calendar that I wanted so this year I am organised and I am pre-ordering now.

I wanted this calendar for years but the first year it came out it didn’t deliver to Ireland but now it does and I pre-order it today.

Lookfantastic Advent Calendar, The advent calendar includes 9 full-sized products and 16 deluxe samples; 19 of which are exclusive to lookfantastic. It’s priced at €98 and products worth over £300 click here to pre-order it’s realise date of the 10th October.

Marks and Spencer’s Calendar, I have heard amazing things about this one, but you have to spend €35 in store and pay €35 for the calendar which isn’t too bad. It features REN, Eyeko, Percy and Reed, Nails Inc. and more it’s realise date is 9th November.

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar Review

I love baths and after a stressful day having a bath is the perfect day to relax.

On my way home from work after a very busy day I headed into lush, it really is one of my favourite shops and the staff are always so nice.

Now I knew I wanted a bubble bar as I love bubbles in my bath . I was drawn to this bright pink bubble bar with a pretty blue flower in the middle.

As I was running my bath that night I held the bubble bar under the tap and watched the water turn pink and of course the bubbles started

Than you get the sweet smell but not to over powering filling up the bathroom

This bubble bar is one my new favourites it was relaxing and I loved the bubbles, it was so relaxing and will be repurchasing.

Lots of love

Aurora Band Rate or Slate

I think everyone has seen Aurora band by now, I ordered mine after seeing it online and everyone’s hair just looked amazing after wearing it overnight so I had big hopes for this and it is priced at €13.99 and postage of €2 which isn’t even the price of one curly blow dry.

Face on pack and band shot 2

I have naturally curly hair so of course I blow dried my hair somewhat straight but still a little damp and also watched the video a few times on how to do it.
I began the process of splitting my hair in two section like pig tails at the back I started wrapping my hair around the band and it kind a sticks to the velcro and then I pulled it through and then added it to the next section till I reached the middle of the band and then started on the other side leaving a gap at the back between the two sides when I was finished. The process got easier as you do it and you would need to be sitting in front of a mirror the most important thing for this part is to leave the gap at the back.

That night I slept in it took me a while to get comfortable and the next morning I was very excited to take it out till I began doing it, it was a nightmare I even got the stress sweats. There was also a few tears from pulling the head of myself and worrying what damage I was doing. My hair looked horrible and frizzy not a curl in it.

I assumed it looked this way because I got stressed so a few weeks later I said I’ll give it a go again. The process of putting it in was so easy this time and taking it out was easier as well I didn’t get stressed and took my time, I was still pulling the head of myself. The Velcro just kept making my hair frizzy so maybe if you have perfect straight hair it may work, well at least I hope it might. My hair looked fizzy and not a curl I just looked like I woke up and didn’t brush my hair. After looking more into and speaking to a few people turns out I was lucky and didn’t have to cut it out, even my hair dresser told me a horror story.

I’m sorry to say I’m slating the Aurora Band.

I did take pictures but I delated them as I felt I shouldn’t write a bad review, as I read an interview with a blogger I use to follow saying if she doesn’t like a product she just doesn’t write about it. I decided to listen to this advice which was as silly of me as you should always do your own thing.

I was going to do it again to show everyone but I just couldn’t do it to my hair.

Lots of Love

PS Dark Circle Reducer

Thid is from PS beauty range from Penneys/Primark its priced at €1.50 and you get four disks in one packet so this means two uses which for this price its great value.

img_87271

You have the choice of leaving them on all night or for 30 minutes.

The first time I used them, I left them on all night. It was a little uncomfortable at the start but I did manage to fall asleep but one came off and the other disk had moved down my cheek. So next time I just used them with a face mask and left them on a bit longer.

The first thing you notice is the cooling effect and you can also pop them in the fridge for a few minutes if you feel  like your eyes need a bit extra TLC.

img_91101

Did I notice big differance, nope not really.I enjoyed using them my eyes felt refreshed and these would be perfect after a long week or with party season just kicking off these would be perfect before putting on your make-up.

Lets be honest for €1.50 you can’t go wrong.

Review PS Love to Glow Face Mask

P.S Love to Glow range is from Penney’s/Primark its budget skin care they have three products in this range mask, a serum and a moisturiser.

I decided to pick up the mask priced at €3.50.

IMG_3601[1]

Let’s start with the first thing you notice the packaging for €3.50 I was not expecting much but I have to say it looks expensive it comes in a box with all the details of the product and then inside you have a glass jar so I am very impressed by this.

This mask is a dupe of Glamglow YouthMud which I have never used so I can’t compare them.

IMG_4300[1]

Opening the jar you see straight away it a grey muddy looking mask which I applied to freshly cleansed skin using my fingers, I did have to double layer the product which surprised me as looking at the mask in the jar you wouldn’t think it .

IMG_4301[1]
My skin did tingle when it first went on but reading other people’s reviews they are saying it didn’t but again very important to note everyone’s skin is different.
I also liked that it had a cooling effect on my skin which I really liked, I’m not a lover of a facemask that has a heating effect on my skin so this is perfect for me.

I leave the mask on for 15 minutes it says 10 on the box but I feel it needs a little bit longer on my skin I than use lukewarm water to slowly massage and exfoliated my skin and it work you can feel the grit in the mask.

IMG_4303[1]

My skin always looks amazing after using this mask it leaves my skin soft, hydrated and blemish free.  I have been using this mask twice a week for over a month I feel you should never rave/ or moan about a product till you have used it over a month how you can see the effect on your skin.

I will be buying this Mask again for €3.50 you can’t go wrong.

Lots of Love

Sleek Barekissed Illuminator Review

Gone are the days when you would just use foundation abit of powder and some blush now it’s all about countering and highlighting.

I started using Sleek Barekissed Illuminator a few months ago I have to say I was excited about trying these highlighters out I decided to go with Monaco and Pompeii they are priced at €13.49/£9.99 .

IMG_0925[1]

Click here to buy in Ireland
Click here to buy in UK

Packaging

I love nice packaging and the Sleek Barekissed Illuminator is impressive for the price it’s a gloss bottle with an easy to use pump which stops you from going a bit OTT as a little goes a long way.

Monaco

IMG_1646[1]

Monaco is perfect for pale skin and there is no trace off glitter which I love and it leaves an amazing glow to your skin. I used this the way I would when countering my face so under my eyes, forehead. Nose and chin where you want the light to hit your face.

IMG_1644[1]

Pompeii

IMG_1645[1]

Pompeii is a little scary looking and I was nervous using this when I had no fake tan on but again I used it under my cheekbones and on my jawline and then blended and it looked amazing.

IMG_1643[1]

How to apply

How to apply, I have used it two ways the first is applying it straight to your skin and using a brush to do this and then blending with foundation.
At the moment I am applying my foundation first and then applying the sleek Illuminator and then blending with a sponge and I prefer this way you can also mix to into your foundation which I haven’t tried yet.

IMG_1200[1]

IMG_1202[1]

IMG_1692[1]

This is one product I will be repurchasing and I have to say it lasts a little goes along way I don’t use it every day as I don’t have the time but at weekend I would always use it including in the day to give my skin an added pop.

Lots of Love
