Clinique Superdefense SPF 20 Daily Defense Moisturizer

I have been using this Clinique moisturizer for a while now and I am sad to say it ran out last weekend which is a nightmare as I don’t have the money to replace it at the moment this moisturizer suited my skin perfectly.

Let’s start with the packaging and price, I love clique’s packaging it looks so clean and crisp which I like and I never had any issue with breakage or spillage which is so important. The price it is expensive it’s normally €52 but at the moment there is 10% of in Debenhams so it’s marked down to €46.50.

What it promises to do

Our most complete daily protection. All-day hydration for a healthy moisture barrier. There’s antioxidants and UVA/UVB protection. All in a formula that is light and silky. Apply in A.M. to face and neck after your regular 3-Step Skin Care regime. All-day hydration, antioxidants, UVA/UVB protection. Light, silky formula

What I think

The main selling point for me was the SPF 20 ok I know it’s not the highest SPF and if I was in a sunny climate I would have SPF 50 on my face at all times but this to me is perfect for a normal Irish weather the cream absorbs easily into my skin and my skin feels hydrated and soft.

I have sensitive skin but it does change sometimes its oily and other times dry it really depends on the weather and hormones with me but I don’t suffer from spots but still get the odd one now and again so my main concern apart from an SPF is with any cream that it will suit my ever changing skin and I can honestly this cream really suited my skin.

Before buying any moisturizer remember everyone’s skins is different so if you are investing in an expensive moisturizer ask for a sample first as the moisturizer might not suit your skin.

Lots of Love
