Meme box Pore Care Review

I have wanted to try out a subscription beauty box for a while now but with so many on the market I wasn’t sure which one I would like so of course I started looking up beauty blogs and came a cross Jainia blog is brilliant and if you are thinking of signing up to a beauty box you should really check her blog out.

After reading her review on Memebox I decided this was for me so Memebox is the number one Korean beauty online retailer and there headquarters is in San Francisco this was the selling point to me I get to try loads of products that I can’t pick up in boots and they have loads of boxes to choose from so I decided to try out Super box #45 Korea’s Most Wanted but I didn’t read the fine print I do this a lot and this box won’t be ready to ship till the 29th August I think, so two days later had a review up about Meme Super box 36 pore care 3 and I had to have this box.

I have to admit a secret I am obsessed with blackhead when I done my beauty therapy course nearly every girl in the class was, we loved removing blackheads it gives you a strange satisfaction I have no idea why so when I read about a box all about pores I had to have it.

So the box arrived last week and I wanted to spend a week trying out all the products.

Memebox comes in a lovely pink box and you get a card with the details of the products as instructions on the products are in Korean so this was a bit of a problem for me as there must have been a printing mistake as the products did not match the instructions so I emailed Memebox and that day and bout one in the morning they emailed me over the instructions have to say brilliant customer service.

So I received SIX full size products for $40.99 including postage and I had a discount code of $5 which is 31.61 in euro first thing I noticed was how expensive all the products looked and I couldn’t wait to try them out.

  1. TOSOWOONG Deep Pore Foam Cleansing 100ml Full size product: 100ml, ($12)

The mild formula and abundant foams work to cleanse away all skin impurities, specifically targeting enlarged pores and sensitive, troublesome skin. Various plant extracts such as green tea, mulberry, and portulca extracts also helps clean, soothe, and deliver vitamins deep into the skin.

It’s best used with a pore brush. Take a reasonable amount of the foam cleanser onto the brush and massage gently into the skin. If without a pore brush, massage using your hands. Then rinse off with warm water.

My Opinion

I just happen to have a pore brush so I felt I got the full effect of the product it is a strong smell but I like that I would only use this maybe once a week as it is a bit drying on my skin but my skin was glowing and felt so clean after words.

  1. SECRET KEY Black Out Pore Clean Remover 100ml Full size product: 100ml, ($38)

Enriched with white clay and black charcoal, the Black Out Pore Clean Remover works to reach into your pores, remove all blackheads & whiteheads clogged up, moisturize, and tighten up the pores all in one!

Wet a cotton pad with the product and place it over your nose or any other area with excess blackheads & whiteheads. Wait for 10~15 minutes, remove the cotton pad, and use a cotton tip to remove any extracted blackheads and impurities on the skin.

My Opinion

Ok I was so excited to get my hands on this, this was a major selling point to me and I have tried this product about three times now lying on the sofa with cotton wool on my nose but nothing really happened but I am not ready to give up yet I think I need to find someone with a few more blackheads than me and see what happens.

  1. CHAMOS ACACI Matte Pore Primer 30ml Full size product: 30ml, ($20)

This Matte Pore Primer instantly absorbs into your skin and provides a smooth, matte, and velvety layer across the skin in order to smooth out enlarged pores and even out uneven skin tone. It contains salicylic acid which works to sterilize and disinfect the skin for a mattified finish.

After cleansing your face, apply a reasonable amount over your face and massage it onto your pores.

My Opinion

I had just run out of primer the day before so this was brilliant so I really wasn’t sure when I opened it as I normally use a clear gel primer and this is a yellow sandy colour so I was a bit hesitant but it went on smoothly and my make-up looked flawless I really like this product.

  1. THE SKIN HOUSE Pore Control Powder Serum 50ml Full size product: 50ml, ($28)

This Pore Control Powder Serum works to immediately tighten and minimize enlarged pores for a smooth and matte skin texture. It also prevents skin’s oil/moisture imbalance by maintaining it silky soft.

Apply a small amount of the serum over your face and neck and lightly press on with your hands for full absorbance.

My Opinion

I love the glass bottle and I have been using this all week now I am using it after I put on my moisturizer so I hope I am using it right and than I am putting on my primer I noticed my pores have not looked as noticeable with my makeup on.

  1. LAILLY +36.5 Steam Pore Pack 50g Full size product: 50g, ($28)

Lailly’s unique pore pack uses hot steam effect to open up the pores and clear the skin of any wastes, impurities, sebum, and blackhead piled up in the pores, leaving your skin deeply cleaned and moisturized as well.

Spread the pack adequately over your face and after 15~20 minutes, rinse off with warm water. Then, continue with your usual skincare routine

My Opinion

Ok I have only used this once but it scared me ok this is a strange thing to say but I am very warm, hot I don’t know this mask freaked me out my skin felt so hot I mean I was freaked out now this product would be amazing for removing blackheads and I will try it again but no way I could leave this on for 15 minutes.

  1. AQUA BEAUTY Pore Zero Blackhead Remover 50ml Full size product: 50ml, ($34)

The soft silicone massaging brush attached and the all-natural essential oil included will effectively and easily remove any blackheads and oils clogging up the pores, making your skin brighter and shinier overall.

First turn the brush counter-clockwise to open it, squeeze out the essential oil from within, and then massage it onto the nose or any other areas with excess blackheads. After 1~2 minutes of massaging, rinse off with warm water.

My Opinion

I really liked this product now I didn’t see any blackheads pop out but my skin felt so clean like my pores have been really cleaned it did feel a bit strange as it feels like jelly on your skin but I love using this product.

Over all

I noticed a big difference in my skin over the last week now I don’t suffer with spots but I do have blackheads and I would get them around my nose and chin over the last week I feel there has been a difference and my skin looked clearer I stopped using pore strips years ago as they can sometimes damage your skin. I really liked this Memebox is
